Elizabeth Silverstein of Telltail Dog Training remembers bringing home her puppy seven years ago. This was four years before she became a dog trainer, and she wrote down some questions to ask her veterinarian. She found those questions tucked away in a puppy book years later, and she realized that others might not know what questions to ask their trainer and what questions to ask their veterinarian. She sat down with Dr. Ball to discuss some things to keep in mind before and after bringing home a new puppy, including vaccinations, food, and training.
